Membership

Membership is open to anyone from the age of 14 upwards, both male and female.  There are no separate sections of membership, but juniors, under 18, pay reduced fees and have the option of a late afternoon session, as noted above. All members are encouraged to enter Club and County competitions suitable to their ability.

The only limitation we apply is one of stature.  If you are large enough to handle a rifle in complete safety, you are welcome.

Please note: We currently have a waiting list for new members and cannot take on anyone else that requires tuition at the moment. We are still happy to welcome experienced shooters, especially those that hold current FAC’s.

Tuition and Fees.

Tuition is free under nationally qualified shooting instructors and one-to-one supervision.  Probationers pay an increased Range Fee until elected a Member, normally after a minimum of 6 months probation.  Members pay an Annual Subscription and a small Range Fee to cover the cost of Small-Bore targets.  Ammunition is available for purchase in the Club and the Club has a selection of rifles for the free use of Members and Probationers.

The Club competes in Local and National, team and individual, Small-Bore Target Shooting Competitions.

Governing Body.

We are governed and insured by the National Small-Bore Rifle Association (NSRA) in what we do, and the range meets all the nationally required safety requirements.

A Firearms Certificate is NOT required for you to join the club or learn to shoot.

Once you have been assessed by a qualified Club official you may apply for Club Membership.
